The 'Rockstar' hero now bags SRK's movie 'Two States'
Ranbir Kapoor has sealed his place in Bollywood with his super hit movie 'Rockstar'. This upcoming superstar has swept all the award functions for the year 2011 leaving the other stars empty handed including, Shah Rukh Khan.
Ranbir won the Filmfare Best Actor award for 'Rockstar' toppling Shah Rukh who was also nominated for the category for his movie 'Don 2'.
While receiving the award Ranbir addressed SRK and said though this was his fourth Filmfare award he wishes to collect fourteen of them just like Shah Rukh.
Looks like Ranbir is snatching much more than just best actor awards from SRK this year.
'Rockstar' Ranbir Kapoor is now replacing Shah Rukh in the movie 'Two States'.
This versatile Kapoor boy is now to star in the much-talked about project produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
The film, which is an adaptation of author Chetan Bhagat's bestseller of same title, will be co-produced by Karan Johar.
Earlier, director Vishal Bhardwaj was supposed to work in the project and he wanted Shah Rukh to take on the lead role, but due to some reason Vishal put the movie on hold and Karan stepped in, to complete the project with Nadiawala.
The news of Ranbir replacing Shah Rukh comes right from the horse’s mouth - Sajid Nadiadwala.
While Sajid Nadiadwala confirmed the news exclusively on Zoom, Karan Johar is still keeping the news close to his heart.
