Ranbir Kapoor refuses a film with shahrukh khan

Ranbir Kapoor is said to be very choosy about his films and signs a films after taking into consideration the fact that eventually how much will he benefit from the project. This was evident when the new rising star of the Bollywood refused to be a part of a film, which was offered to him by producer Karan Johar and where he was suppose to share the screen space with Shahrukh Khan.

Ranbir feels that though he would love to do a film with Shahrukh at some point of his acting career, this is not the right time for it because Shahrukh is a superstar of Bollywood, whereas Ranbir is a relative newcomer to the industry and no film maker at this point of time will provide him the role, which is equivalent to Shahrukh. A source close to Ranbir while verifying the reports of Ranbir’s refusal to do a film with Shahrukh said, “His desire is that he would much rather do a project with Shah Rukh when the two of them can be treated as equal actors.”

The sources added that Ranbir also refused the film because right now he is only interested in films where he features as the solo lead male actor.

Though Ranbir has its own way of working and keeping those in mind he has refused a film with Shahrukh but may be he has missed an easy chance to be in headlines by refusing a Karan Johar film where he had a chance to star opposite the biggest star of the industry. It also shows that right now, unlike some other actors, who have taken this risk at a very early stage of their career, Ranbir is not yet ready and confident to be a part of a multi-starrer projects.
