Audience reacts to Sakshi-Ram intimacy

In Bade Acche Lagte Hain, Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanvar indulged in a liplock which was part of a good 17 minutes long love-making scene. Sex and the soaps
Stills from BALH

Intimacy isn’t explicit on TV in India because channels cater to family audiences. Usually, all you see is hugging, caressing and sighing, shots of various portions of the actors’ anatomy, romantic songs in the background, flying hair, candle flames wavering and flowers strewn about the set.

Viewers of this popular television soap were in for a big surprise as the lead actors Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanvar indulged in a liplock which was part of good 17 minutes long love-making scene. The episode aired last night at 10.30 pm on Sony.

The channel was promoting   episode for a while but an actual lip to lip wasn't really expected. People watching the episode with families were a bit scandalised.

Sakshi did a decent job but it was Ram who took the cake. His expressions of hesitation, desire and love came out quite naturally.

Reactions to the love-making episode have been as intense as the scene itself.   Bangalore-based Sangita Kini, 29, says, “It was too much for a TV serial that you watch with family and kids. Ekta is trying to shoot her shows like films for a rise in TRPs. This episode needs to be condemned.”  Pooja Shenoy, from 24, New Delhi, feels the same. “I wasn’t comfortable watching the episode with my family,” she says, backed by Aditya Raj, 45, from Jaipur. “For TV, the scene was long drawn out and too much,” he says. “Otherwise, the romance was just right.”

Bade Acche Lagte Hain, with television rating of 3.25% (as reported by Screen), is a story of two strangers from different backgrounds getting married and eventually falling in love. Kapoor plays business honcho Ram in his 40s while Tanwar portrays Priya, a teacher in her 30s. In the last episode, Ram confesses his love to Priya and consummates his marriage. And how!

The bedroom scene was enacted with, In Lamhon Ke Daaman Mein from Jodhaa Akbar playing in the backdrop. In the film too, Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan consummated their marriage in this song sequence. It's so obviously contrived.

However, the promo scene, which had Bahon Ke Darmiyan as the background score, wasn't aired. May be there's still more to come. So next time, be a little wary if your kids or parents are by your side when you are glued to another episode of BALH.

While producer Ekta Kapoor says Ram makes 40 and fat look sexy, people on Twitter are making fun of his weight.

The actor is also expected to step out for a while to cut cake with his fans, who always gather around his house on the day, reports DNA.

Salman Khan gets bullied

Bollywood actor Salman Khan

Hanumant Rao Patil, a notorious film federation employee disrupted the actor's shoot and will now have to face the consequences for it
Nobody can ever dare to stop a Salman Khanshoot. But FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees) guy Hanumant Rao Patil is surely an exception. Patil, a self-styled king (read mafia lord), who has been going on upstaging Bollywood shoots for the past few months and tormenting filmmakers in the Hindi cinema industry, recently stopped a commercial shoot featuring the actor that was taking place at Mehboob Studios in Bandra. In fact Salman was left cooling his heels in his vanity van. And this unpleasant incident has not gone down too well with the other members of FWICE.

Mumbai Mirror learnt that five days back, Patil barged in on the sets of the Salman Khan commercial. He stopped the shoot and asked Raman Lamba, who was in charge of the production, to cough up Rs 66,000. Patil stated that he heads the 'Still photography Department' of the FWICE. Since Lamba wasn't registered with the institution, Patil asked him to pay up the required sum before continuing with the shoot.

Angry with Patil, the Vice Chairman of Allied Mazdoor Union, a part of FWICE, Prem Singh Thakur said, "Stopping Salman's shoot is just not done. The same goes for any other shoot actually. FWICE is not here to inconvenience people. We don't demand money from people. We resolve issues amicably. What Patil is doing is just not done."

He revealed that Salman's shoot was not the only production that has suffered because of Patil's antics. "He stopped a shoot in Goregaon yesterday. Two models were shooting for an ad. Patil demanded for money there as well," said an irritated Thakur.

Another senior member of the association, Dinesh Chaturvedi, General Secretary FWICE said, "We have not issued a business member card to Patil. But we had appointed him as the Head of Still Photography. But if this is the way he is going to function, we shall not issue the card to him."

When we contacted Patil, he however chose to defend his style of functioning. "Lamba was not registered with FWICE. I have done no wrong. Lamba even had to submit his passport and a few other documents to us today. A few more formalities still remain though."

Patil also denied inconveniencing Salman Khan during the shoot. However, Chaturvedi who is also doing a cameo in Salman Khan's Dabangg 2 revealed that Salman had in fact told him about the incident 'indirectly' on the sets of the film. "He said 'aapke vigilance ke log set pe chale aate hain' without naming Patil. And I understood what he meant," revealed Chaturvedi.

Keeping Salman's complaint in mind, the federation has now decided to take a step against Patil. "We have requested every producer to check the vigilance member card of any person who disrupts a shoot or asks for money claiming that they are from the federation," Chaturvedi told Mirror.

As for Patil, the federation has now decided to take strict action against him. "Patil has been harassing filmmaker for a long time. We want to sack him very soon."

Lamba chose not to get involved in the FWICE fight and said, "We are unable to comment on this. Please respect our decision."

Jatin Lalit - The Most Melodious Composer-Duo

Jatin-Lalit are a Bollywood film composer duo consisting of Jatin Pandit and his younger brother Lalit. They have written the scores for films such as Khiladi, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, Khamoshi: The Musical, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Yes Boss, Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Mohabbatein and Fanaa. Jatin-Lalit is their professional name and appears on the covers of their music CDs and DVDs. In 2006, the brothers ended their professional relationship, citing personal problems.

Jatin-Lalit is the one of the best music director ever born in Indian Hindi Music.
Early life
Jatin and Lalit were born into the Mewati gharana of Jodhpur in Rajasthan, and are nephews of classical exponent Pandit Jasraj. They received their musical education primarily from their father, Pandit Pratap Narayan. They were also taught guitar and piano by Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma, the father of Pyarelal Sharma of the Laxmikant-Pyarelal duo.[1]
Bollywood actresses Sulakshana Pandit and Vijeta Pandit are their sisters, and music director Aadesh Shrivastava is their brother-in-law, being married to the younger of the two sisters, Vijeta.[

Musical Career
File:YaaraDildara.jpg
Vinyl Record Cover
They began their career in 1991, composing music for the Hindi movie Yaara Dildara and the famous soundtrack of the movie was " Bin tere sanam... ". They were first noticed for their work on the soundtrack of the movie Khiladi and for "Pehla Nasha", a romantic song from the movie Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander. Their compositions are strongly influenced by R. D. Burman's style of music making. Towards the second half of the nineties, they were among the most sought after music directors in the Indian film industry.[citation needed]
The duo has worked with a variety of lyricists and singers including Javed Akhtar, Anand Bakshi, Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik and Kumar Sanu. During the last few years of their joint career, their music albums contained several songs composed by other musicians. This practice was not liked by Jatin-Lalit; however, the producer and director insisted on it.[citation needed] In Karan Johar's Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham two of the tracks were composed by Sandesh Shandilya. In Chalte Chalte, Aadesh Shrivastava composed several songs. Also in Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, one song was composed by Himesh Reshammiya and Sajid-Wajid.
They were also some of the first composers to write songs performed by Bollywood film stars rather than playback singers. They specially composed "Aati Kya Khandala" in the film Ghulam for the lead actor Aamir Khan. They also composed a song for Sanjay Dutt to sing in the movie Khoobsurat.
Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge has been rated the 6th best soundtrack ever by Planet Bollywood on their "100 Greatest Bollywood Soundtracks". [3] Other soundtracks included in the list are Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham (64), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (69), Khamoshi: The Musical (97).

Acting Career
Jatin and Lalit both appeared in the movie Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar during the song "Diwane Hum Pyar Ke". Jatin is the guy singing the song with the girl whereas Lalit can be seen playing the guitar(the very first shot of the song). Jatin also performed the song "Ruth Ke Hamse Kabhi" in the film.

The Separation
After working for almost 16 years together, they announced that they would be parting ways due to some personal problems.[6] Reasons for the separation are unknown, but entertainment writers have speculated that the split is because of financial matters.[

Solo Careers
Lalit and Jatin have both continued to compose separately. Lalit scored the 2007 film, Life Mein Kabhie Kabhiee, Showbiz,Horn Ok Pleassss and "Dulha Mil Gaya"
Jatin composed the score for Saurav Shukla's upcoming film, "I am 24", starring Neha Dhupia and Rajat Kapoor. It is a Planman Motion Films Presentation.
He also composed for filmmaker Raja Sen's film Krishnakanter Will. "I am working on the number. I am trying to make it in such a way that it goes along with the novel written by Bankimchandra Chattopadhyay. The song will be melody based," says Jatin.[citation needed] He also recorded an album for the president of the Indian Business and Professional Council, Abbas Ali Mirza. He is also doing the Music for Kundan Shah's next. Considering the strong track record Jatin Lalit had with Kundan Shah, this film could be the next Kabhi Haa Kabhi Naa for Jatin. Jatin is also working on the maiden venture of Gazebo Entertainment's "Saturday Night".
Lalit composed the song "Munni Badnaam Hui" for 2010's superhit Dabangg. The song has become hugely popular among the masses, particularly for the quirky lyrics and Malaika Arora Khan's dance moves.

Awards and Recognition
Their soundtrack of Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge was judged the top Hindi soundtrack of all time by on-line voters on the BBC Asian Network. The number two and three positions also went to Jatin-Lalit for their compositions from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
