The actor, who has Punjabi roots, has always wanted to pay a tribute to Singhs around the world for their sherdil. Akshay's latest song, where he is rapping, is a promotional one for his film Speedy Singhs.
He shot this special song Shera Di Kaum Punjabi, withGrammy award winner Ludacris and RDB, a pop Punjabi trio. This rap number, composed by Ludacris and RDB, has recently released and is quite a hit with partygoers.
On Akshay's experience of working with international artists, a source reveals, "It was an exciting experience for Akshay to collaborate with Ludacris for the music video. Akshay is always looking for opportunities to work with great artists from across the globe. He has made several films in the past, but this will be his first Hollywood film as a producer. He will not be acting in the film though."
